1911 Expedition to the River Baker, Sights & Scenes #1

These photographs were taken during an overland expedition from Punta Arenas to the River Baker district, between January and April 1911. They have been annotated in English by a member of the group, perhaps the photographer. The monogram (AU) which appears on each caption suggests the name of Alexander Urquhart, an employee of the Sociedad Industrial del Aisén at that date. [More images in Sights & Scenes #2 Album]
