Abstract: While onshore, the crew of an unnamed sealing schooner was attacked, and two men killed. The captain and remaining crew fought their way to safety, defending themselves with a gun.

Assessment: The whites were apparently some distance from the shore, and the safety of their ship. No explanation is given for the aggression.
