1937 Visit to Paine District, Última Esperanza

For many years, the area occupied by the present-day Torres del Paine National Park was an active sheep ranch. The visiting photographer (probably Thomas Boyd) would have arrived by company steamer, and made his tour on horseback. The Spanish anotations, handwritten in white ink, are from the original photograph album.
